Why ActorTrax?

And they really seem to struggle keeping accurate records of the money spent on their careers. Coachings, classes, and cab rides all add up and, at the end of the year, a lot of actors are left guessing.

How To:
We tried to make the app as intuitive as possible. If you don't feel it is then we'd love to hear from you! Just tap the "feedback" button on the home screen and give us your suggestions.
Get started!Sign into the app and start adding events, expenses, contacts, representation, etc.
Adding Submissions-BookingsTap the appropriate button to add a submission, audition, callback, or booking.
Add as much detail from the breakdown as you can. The better the data you put in the more effective the ActorTrax reports will be. Be sure to add any production contacts listed in the breakdown ActorTrax will automatically add them to your contacts and track your history with them.
If the event has already happened (i.e. You've already sent in your submission or you've already had an audition) you will have the option to also add any expenses you may have incurred for this event. You can also log your thoughts about the event and how you felt about it on a scale of 1 (bad) to 5 (over the moon) to help you track your emotional state when it comes to your career.
Adding RepresentationTap the "representation" button to view all of your agents and managers. This will be empty to start with so tap the "+" sign in the lower right corner to add an agent or manager.
ActorTrax will automatically add representation from the new event form, in the event you haven't already entered that particular person.
Adding ExpensesTap the "expenses" button to view all of your expenses. This will be empty to start with so tap the "+" sign in the lower right corner to add a new expense.
ActorTrax will also give you the opportunity to add associated expenses to any events that you're adding that have occurred in the past.
Adding ContactsTap the "contacts" button to view all of your contacts. This will be empty to start with so tap the "+" sign in the lower right corner to add a new contact.
View ReportsTap the "reports" button to navigate to the reports screen. You can select from Events, Expenses, and Contacts
FAQ
How do I get started? Download the app from the App or Play stores, sign up, sign in, and start adding events, expenses, contacts, and representation.
What do you do with my information? NOTHING! Your data is yours. We only need your email address for authentication. ActorTrax does not collect any other information from you or your phone. Even the contacts you add are completely separate from the contacts stored on your phone.
Why are submissions and auditions called "events?" Your career is comprised of self-submissions, audtions, callbacks, bookings, etc. For simplicity, ActorTrax refers to these as "events."
Why can't I just add a callback from the new event screen? To keep things organized, ActorTrax has you enter the precipitating event. If you have a callback, that means you had to have had an audition. So, start by adding that audition and you can add a callback or booking as a "next step."
ActorTrax is Always Free!
ActorTrax is built by actors for actors. We know that EVERYTHING in your career costs money- Headshots, Demos, Coachings, Classes, etc. You name it, someone is charging for it.
The last thing an actor needs is another "service" they have to pay for. That's why ActorTrax is free. We've been there. We ARE there.
So, we decided to make a suite of tools to help actors track and assess their career efforts that's FREE!
